My Story

My journey began with teaching languages. I witnessed firsthand the diverse ways people learn and the challenges they face. I saw how a well-structured lesson could ignite passion, while a poorly designed one could extinguish it. This sparked a desire to understand the science behind effective learning.

Community Outreach

As an active member of the Women in STEM organization at Duquesne University, I'm committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for women pursuing careers in STEM. I contribute to initiatives that expand access to computer science education and foster a strong community within our field.I actively participate in workshops, networking events, and outreach programs, striving to empower and inspire the next generation of female STEM leaders.

Hobbies

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find balance and joy in pilates and ballet. I also do some gardening, where I grow strawberries and herbs. I also like exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures through travel and sightseeing.
